These are more like "kiddy cuffs" than adult play toys. There is a release mechanism on the handcuffs, no key needed. The connecting chain is very lightweight and flimsy. I was looking for entry level cuffs, not toys. I didn't expect they would let her release herself at will.

These are very sturdy & will last for years! Great if you like the touch of metal on your skin! I also go to a fabric store & get a few feet of Fake Fur Trim (about 2-3 inches wide) & run through a sewing machine (inside out)for instant, customised, padding! Match the fur to your "outfit" (Lepord, Zebra, Black, exc.) or get batting strips & do the same with Leather/PVC/Vinal!! Turn 1 pair of cuffs into a full wordrobe with 10 min's in front of a sewing machine! I will never remove these from my "Toy Box"!
