For the price this set is a good value. It was a bit disappointing to find only two tethers in the box however it is sufficient enough for basic restraining. The cuffs are fairly durable, I haven't been able to pull them apart yet and they are much more comfortable than handcuffs. Although this set on its own has limited use, with a bit of creativity it can be combined with other sets and equipment rather nicely. For example rope can substitute the lacking 2 tethers for a four-point spread or a tether can be used with the Under the Bed Restraint system to add a fifth attachment for a collar. (Plus the cuffs are more secure than the ones that come with that system) We consider this a nice addition to a bondage collection.

1) there are only 2 tethers, if you buy this and want 4 point restraint (as in the photo), buy another 2 nylon tethers. 2) You can't allow any play, the sub must be stretched out. The cuffs will break without much strength from the sub. 3) Cuffs are comfortable and easy to use, so are the tethers.

This is a very nice set beginner or not. I'm in the process of replacing my old bondage gear and this set is a good value. The cuffs are easy to use and won't open simply by pulling on them thanks to the double Velcro design(one strap sets the size, the other strap keeps the first in place. however if your look for quick restraint it can be clumsy so I won't recommend these for rape fantasy or power play unless the dom is strong enough to hold the sub in place while fixing them. The tethers are nice and strong, I haven't tested the strength of the adjustable portion of the tethers yet but they look sturdy enough. The blind fold is about a centimeter too narrow over the eyes, someone can still see under the blindfold, however this can be cleared up with some bondage tape or breaking them in enough to lay flat over the eyes. All in all a decent kit and I'd recommend it to experimenters, the start of a bondage set, or a supplement to an existing set. With a little practice all the minor inconveniences work out.
