    These are great for buckles with locking holes. But if you use them as locking to something, don’t stretch them. They are not made for that. Battery has lasted for over 4 different times so far. I like them a lot.

    I bought two of these electronic time locks a year ago, and as much as I love the things, they are to be respected! I got them to experiment with strict self-bondage for the first time. Giving my mate a head's up ahead of time, I cuffed my wrist cuffs around the heavy iron headboard of my bed, in which the only method of my escape was serving my time! I do love the obnoxiously loud beeps of each button press, including the countdown timer, before you hear the lock mechanism fastening inside. I set the timer for 10 minutes on my first try, and lay prone in the dark, trying to anticipate how much time was left. While waiting with anxious anticipation, the thought entered the back of my mind: "what if it doesn't open?" With great relief, I heard the triple beep and heard the unlocking mechanism happening inside the device, and I had achieved my freedom! Of course, after the fact, I did some research on a few of my concerns, before learning how this device is anything but fail-safe. As hot as it sounds in fantasy to become stuck forever, there's many ways in which exactly that can happen (device mechanically malfunctions, batteries deplete before countdown timer completes, shackle release can't be reached or doesn't open, etc) So, not to be too much of a drag or stickler about safety, but at least know the risks and follow the precautions before playing with them! I decided that I would only use these things for things like chastity (e.g. locking up keys), for which a failure to release would be mostly considered a non-emergency. Recently I have bought the ice lock for some of the stricter scenes, as ice will always melt! 4 out of 5 stars from me, with the dock given for the unacceptable risk of the lack of fail-safe. It never happened to me using them for a year, but all it takes is once! Play safe everyone!

    Bought one of these on sale. The interface is simple and works and I was pleasantly surprised that it has a small backlight. The plastic casing feels a bit light giving the impression that one might be able to break it with only moderate force if not careful but that has yet to happen. It uses a one-off usb cable for charging, would be nice if it used a standard micro usb head. Overall I’m happy!

    Plastic case. Could be easily broken. Also, if the battery goes dead, it stays in whatever mode it is currently in, so if it is locked, it stays locked (although if you charge it for a minute and reprogram it for a minute, it will unlock). If you keep this in mind, it does work well. I use it for self bondage (with a backup) with a shrews fiddle and it works well for that.
