I chose it because I thought the shape of the base would be more comfortable than others and it is. Only complaint is that my husband says the pointed tip of the base pokes him during sex. It really should be rounded off.
Let me start by saying I want to love everything about this plug, and most of my issues with it stem from my body more than the design. The weighted balls within provide a lovely continuous sensation when moving about. The dual graduation made for enjoyable insertion. The base is quite firm and prevents the plug from slipping further in than designed, an important safety feature for any plug. And, being silicone, it is body safe and easy to clean and maintain.
The issues stem from how it sat within me. I found my sphincter group to be thicker than the base taper. This means that the largest and lowest bulge of the plug was never beyond my inner sphincter and thus held firmly within, but just within it, like a foot in the door. Any internal pressure, say from gagging or a sneeze, would force it easily back into the middle taper. And being no longer and the first bulge being a touch smaller, would serve little more than a handy warning for the inevitable ejection to come.
Also, I mentioned the base was firm, providing a sense of security. However, I found it was very firm, and for some reason the designers felt the need to bring the ends to an actual point. This resulted in the feeling of a hard poking north and south of the hole. Perhaps, being male and having more involved in my taint than a female, this was more pronounced for me.
So, to summarize, I want to love this plug and the design notion is a lot of fun. But if you have a thick sphincter muscle group like me, your hole may not be as inviting a home for this plug as someone with a thinner grouping. And, if you don't like being mugged in your taint the whole time wearing it, then perhaps think twice.
Upon opening it's a smooth texture that's perfect. Good weight but I did notice at the base it's pretty well pointed. Didn't get far with the toy but I'd guess if you're having sex while this is being worn that pointed base will definitely cause discomfort. Wife didn't like how close the second bulb was close to the base making it painful after inserting it. A shame things didn't work out but trying new toys aren't always a win.
