Works great. I have a corded sawzall and a dewault cordless. The shoe needs to be released and removed on the sawzall and then it works great. Most sawzall's have a way to release the "shoe".
We have been having SO much fun with this and I will still give it 5 stars, however a little word of advice/warning: I have a Dewalt reciprocating saw I was planning to use but the "foot" on the saw doesn't have a gap wide enough to accommodate the adapter without scuffing/rubbing. What I decided to do in the end was buy a new cordless saw and not install the foot and it works fantastic. Basically, if you are going to get this adapter, highly recommend a cheap, powerful saw with a longer stroke and leaving the foot off.
We tried this adapter because I already have a sawsall in my toolbox and it was the most economical way to get us setup with a fucking machine. It was a big hit and my wife came a lot. All I need now to make this a better experience for me is a cordless {and hopefully quieter} sawsall. I look forward to getting some different cock adapters in the future as well.
