The old flogger is something that you could put everything into each swing and my spouse loved it. This, being heavier/sturdier/firmer I can't swing with all my might. I though of returning it as after 4 smacks she was done with it. But, I decided to learn how to use it with less force. Wow, does she like it now.
It has a very good weight to it. You can do a heavy thud flogging with it but you can also make it snap and sting.
Years ago, purchased a heavy leather one. Rarely used it as it was too hardcore. Purchased this suede flogger and love everything about it. The feel of the soft suede on the skin changes everything. Will use this a great deal in the future. Additionally, due to the red and black colors of the strands, it is actually, visually attractive and seeing it, makes you want to use it. When used properly, has a wonderful snap/thud sound that provides more pleasure than pain. Recommend this item highly.

I like the weight. Definitely good for a nice thud, but the ends can sting and leave marks. My sub really enjoys it.

The handle was the best part, it was a little bigger then expected but to be honest with you it was a pleasant surprise. My partner was a little worried it was too big but after a few swings they really started to enjoy it. Make sure you have enough room to swing it to get the best possible snap. Your hands will love it, and the material is amazing.
