I’ve owned my fair share of these guys and I have to say that this one is my favourite. The ease of putting it on and taking it off with the hinged ring is a huge plus. Not to mention aesthetically it is gorgeous. Materials are all fantastic. It is the first one I have owned that can actually prevent a “full mast” so to speak, likely due to the thickness of the ring, and rubber to protect the hinge. There is however one downside, and it comes with the convenience of the hinged ring. Even after locked there is a small gap that can pinch you at any given time. A problem that can be resolved with a small clip to externally hold the rings together, but a design flaw nonetheless. Perhaps with future models they could make the tolerances smaller for where the two prongs enter the cage portion of the apparatus.
Best cage I've used so far, and I've tried everything from the Gates of Hell to the CB6000. All the others require you to be completely flaccid to put on, which is basically impossible if my wife is handling it, and they take some pushing, shoving, and squeezing to get to fit right.
