Very pleased with this speculum. The edges are all rounded and it has the feel of a precision medical instrument. It opens left to right and gives a nice view. Customer service is excellent.
Best speculum on the market? Quite possibly. The craftsmanship is superb, the metal is excellent quality, and the parts all move perfectly. The description says the blades open up to 3.5 inches, but it's a little misleading since the entire thing is quite adjustable. The prongs, when opened to the maximum degrees, are a little over four inches apart, so there's even more potential than you might think. I'll be looking at the tri-pronged speculum in the future, but any other first timers out there who are looking into buying a speculum, I'd say look no further. The Miller Speculum is a treat.
I have nearly every speculum made, but of them all, this one is by far the best and my favorite. One reason I like it is that it's made of cast metal (chrome plated brass), so the blades have a bit of thickness that can be smoothed out with a Dremel tool. This means it can open you wider without risk of cutting internal tissues, unlike others made of stamped sheet metal. If your hole needs a good, wide stretching, this baby is for you.
I absolutely love this speculum! I own several and this one is hands down one of my favorites. It's made from quality metal and has smooth edges for safe spreading. It also stays open once adjusted, which I have noticed can be an issue with lower quality items.
There are many speculums out there, and if you don't want to waste money on all of them trying to find the best, look no further. This product looks and feels like it came from a doctors orifice... I mean office, hehehe. All stainless construction, fluidly adjusts to different sizes/positions.
This is the second speculum I bought, and I must say it is extremely well made, very solid. The screws don't move, once it is set it is set. Good for anal and vaginal play.
