I had already purchased the metal pump with a 2.25" cylinder then found that I could not use it with my glans stretching ring on. I needed the 2.75" cylinder, so I bought it later. If I had known you could but them together as a package I would have saved some money. No regrets and both pieces are highest quality. You absolutely need the metal pump if you are serious about pumping. Even better is using these with a regular or donut stainless steel cock ring which will fit inside the cylinder (45mm ID, 63mm OD for the donut ring I have). It enables a much better seal and fantastic result. This is one of my favorite toys and use it regularly.

It is a great pump but just make sure you are careful with attaching, unattaching and reattaching the cylinder or you will not hold the pressure inside the cylinder.
