These high quality leather mitts are wonderful at containing busy hands and fingers. These mitts are made of fine garment leather embroidered over soft padding. Each of the padded mitts has a large D-ring on a 1.5 inch heavy leather buckle strap for cinching down on the wrist and attaching to multiple points for varied bondage possibilities.Designed for a tight fit. This design forces the wearer to keep the hand in a fist. Removing the ability to open the hand is a higher level of restrictiveness and can be appreciated by serious bondage lovers. Incorporates locking buckles so a key is needed to remove. These mitts are leather lined for comfort and have a sensual leather feel for the wearer. Great fit and feel - but.... For medium or small hands (7-1/2 or less), it is possible to grip moderately small objects through these - so keep keys away from the wearer. They also may be able to grasp a knife and cut the strap. Suggest put an object (like a balled up pair of socks) in their palm when they put their hand in to prevent "busy hands". When locked they definitely are not coming off without a key or knife. |

Quality is excellent. The mitts have a very tight fit and are highly restrictive/secure. I would strongly recommend them to anyone. |

At first I had trepidations, over $100 for a pair of mittens, but I'm glad I got them. While wearing them you can't do much. If you're going to be in them for a while you had better be nude or wearing a diaper because you cannot even start to get undressed. You can open a door, and even have a drink if you're careful, but not much else. If you're trying to cut down smoking they are very effective. They are very tight on me as I have large hands, all the better. They are probably the perfect size, my fingers aren't all that long, but they are thick. The mitts are also quite strong. I have broken quite a few pieces of "gear" in my time but these won't give. In and out the finish is very nice. It feels good on your hands and whatever you (try to) touch. If you're going to wear them in the absence of your playmate (I have) I have a warning, do not lock them. With your mouth you might be able to get the locks on, but you'll never be able to manipulate the key like that. For selfbondage use two of those nylon zip ties. Get them through a hole on the strap and tie that to the D ring. If you use the 75 lb test type you will not be able to get them off with your teeth, in fact you might lose a tooth trying. Instead you get a stick or a knife. You don't attempt to cut the tie, this is impossible. It's also impossible to use wire cutters to free yourself. What you do is stick the stick or knife through the tie and twist. The strap is tough enough that it won't be damaged using the 75 lb. ties. Don't use anything stronger or you might be stuck. I'm pretty strong and have good dexterity, but these things will not yield. At around $150 I hesitated, but I'm very glad I purchased them. Everyone I've showed them to was impressed, especially when they tried them on. For bondage, lock a pair of these on your sub and that'll be the only two locks you'll need. As long as they can't get to their other "acoutriments" with their mouth, whether by tether or gag, they will be stuck. Even used alone, it's exotic. You will have to help the sub with bathroom needs :-) as they will be unable to "service" themself. Used alone they can be left on for quite awhile if desired. Untethered in other ways the sub can escape the house in case of fire or whatever. The concept of this type of mitts is great. As long as there is an escape route in case of emergency you can actually leave a person alone in them. You must always think of the safety of the sub. If handled correctly the worst that could happen is they would distract the firemen, and if the TV cameras show up, well, that's the breaks. At least they're safe. They might be pissed off, but that's also the breaks. In any case, think of all contingencies before doing this. Think it all the way through, up to the point where your sub is in a car being covered with a blanket for privacy. Remember, you don't put someone in bondage to leave them alone, that part is only a waiting game. And don't even think of leaving them alone tethered to anything or with the mitts tied or locked together. These things are very secure. |
