I can't get the button to depress to lock the second lock. I used a variety of strength's to try and depress it thinmking maybe it is fragile and it will break if pushed too hard to matybe it is stiff because it is new and I have to practically STAND on the button.

I can't use these cuffs if I can't get the second lock to work. They are unsafe without the second lock engaged because they will simply keep getting tighter and tighter and tighter when touched either by the person in them or the person putting them on. I don't consider them a safe toy and won't play with them and so am now stuck with yet ANOTHER pair of handcuffs I can't use!!!! GRRR! I've wanted a safe pair of handcuffs for so long!!!

On the POSITIVE side of things: they are heavy and sturdy and the first lock opens and closes easily. They are oval-shaped and so fit naturally to the wrist like police-issue handcuffs do and I can't get out of them like the circular cuffs. I have small wrists that are about the size of a large child's and these handcuffs still keep me bound.
