The mechanism is beautiful: wonderful brass innersiding with a splendid chrome finish. In addition, the pump works worderfully. Still, the insided was prepared apparently in a gunshop or the likes for the amount of honest to real gun oil, carlube or just bacl filth was most surprising. the mechanism should be cleaned before shipping and at the very least, cleaned before use.
