This is a very nice set beginner or not. I'm in the process of replacing my old bondage gear and this set is a good value. The cuffs are easy to use and won't open simply by pulling on them thanks to the double Velcro design(one strap sets the size, the other strap keeps the first in place. however if your look for quick restraint it can be clumsy so I won't recommend these for rape fantasy or power play unless the dom is strong enough to hold the sub in place while fixing them. The tethers are nice and strong, I haven't tested the strength of the adjustable portion of the tethers yet but they look sturdy enough. The blind fold is about a centimeter too narrow over the eyes, someone can still see under the blindfold, however this can be cleared up with some bondage tape or breaking them in enough to lay flat over the eyes.

All in all a decent kit and I'd recommend it to experimenters, the start of a bondage set, or a supplement to an existing set. With a little practice all the minor inconveniences work out.
