These mitts are made by Humane Restraint, which continues to manufacture some of the best hospital restraints available today. Made from top quality, heavy, latigo leather. The exclusive Humane Restraint locking device, L-200 series are known for their world class security. They are used by mental hospitals and psychiatric institutions to keep patients securely restrained and to confine fingers and hands within the mitts. Very confining and yet comfortable enough for long-term restraint. The mitts also have metal loops attached to the wrist and hand areas that allow the mitts to be secured to fixed objects or other parts of the body.
