This is a wonderful flogger for the beginner who doesn't want to spend a fortune to find out whether or not their partner will be able to enjoy being flogged. My MN BadBoy and I take turns flogging each other and loved this as son as we received it. It stings wonderfully and makes the one getting flogged jump and squirm...unless they are restrained; then they can only squirm. It also makes a nice sound when the rubber meets flesh. Suffice it to say we loved it. We have since graduated a bigger, more expensive rawhide flogger we both love, but when we travel we bring the rubber flogger. It's easy to pack and doesn't take up much room in a suitcase to punish whoever was naughty during the trip. You can bet we try to outdo each other being naughty. I usually win. And when I'm bad, I'm better....yum.
