This is a severe impact toy: not for the feint of heart. It's got a heavy and painful THUD even on a light impact and the pain is felt deeply as if you have bruised or will bruise. The pain lasts for a bit afterwards as well. This is NOT a flexible cane: it is more like a steel rod. I consider it a steel club...just a very thin club. For the most extreme players only who are into heavy impact and bruising or deeper pain. It's absolutely beautiful to look at, though. Unfortunately, it will simply get dusty in my collection because there is nobody that I can play with when using it.

Okay, this is from the perspective of the one receiving the caning. So, me and my girlfriend like to have S/M RP sessions sometimes, and I found that when she used this on me, it was a little bit too much for me to handle after a few hits. This is much too hard for use on the breasts (in my opinion), but can be used realistically on someone's butt/legs, esp for punishment.
