This was a very cool week. New products were launched (and my vanilla ass just loves that Ride the Vibe Belt — pretty cool device, if you ask me) and we get to share them with you.

I actually don’t have much more to say this week. I’ll be at the Formula Drift World Championships this weekend. You’ll be interested to know the kinds of things that we do on weekends actually. For example James, who handles the affiliate program actually goes camping and roughs it. Jennifer, likes to have get-togethers with friends. We’re quite the active marketing department.

This week has been a big week, with the elections and all.

New products have launched today and I’m particularly enthralled by two products: The Cock Lock Intruder (for obvious reasons — have you seen the thing? That’s pretty intense) and the Inflatable Sex Machine. I have you tell you Fetish Fantasy is such a well-done line of products. Sometimes I stare at those product pictures cause they’re so hawt. I take that back, Fetish Fantasy and Sportsheets. They do some really great product photography.

I hope you all get a chance to check out the new Sex Toy Distributing 2.0. The folks over there did a really great job with the updated site. They took feedback from their retailer customers and designed a site that’s more in-tuned to what they need. It makes ordering and fulfilling those orders at lot easier on both ends of the spectrum. If you’re indeed a retailer, go check out the prices that are offered on the products. You could find yourself with better margins based upon the wholesale prices offered.

Additionally, I asked Jennifer, the wholesale manager if she wanted her picture to be included on the blog. We compromised with the image that you see to the right. It’s an “animated” version of Jennifer. Honestly, I think it’s a pretty good likeness of her. So if you’re talking to her on the phone, just stare at this picture and imagine the lips moving. However, if your phone conversations are getting a little too steamy, then she may start charging you $3.99 per minute. The same goes for customer service reps. =)

Am I the only one who finds it interesting that we’re putting up the (NOT) Sarah Palin love doll and the Maverick dildo online at the same time? Create your own conclusions from that, but I find that quite funny — welcome to new product Friday.

I hope that everyone is ready for the weekend. I, myself, will be headed to a special costume electronic concert (read: rave) tomorrow. The event is called Monster Massive and will be a 9 hour extravaganza featuring people such as LTJ Bukem, Judge Jules and Paul Van Dyk. I’m quite glad that I’m doing my Halloween event one week early. As I’m sure some of you know getting out to a Halloween event (on Halloween night) can be quite the experience. Well combine that with the fact that Halloween is on Friday night this year and you have the makings of a reason to carry around a paddle with you.

Last year, I tried to go to an event (on a Wednesday) and ended up getting so frustrated in traffic that I just turned around and went home. Interesting thing was I was only one block away from where the event was, but it took me 2 1/2 hours to get there (on a normal day — 15 minutes). So this year, going to something that’s not on Halloween night will be quite the welcomed thing.

I hope by this point you have your costume figured out. If you haven’t you can still pick up something from us and have it shipped via 2day or Next Day air. A lot of my friends are last minute costume creators, but sometimes that sparks a part of your imagination that helps you create a great new outfit.

So we’ve all reached the end of another work week. The folks around here have gotten their fill of morning bagels, I’ve put up some great new products for everyone to browse through over the weekend ( and I’m looking forward to everyone’s opinions on the Sexy Sadist ) and now I can look forward to next week when not only it starts to become crunch time for getting that hot Halloween outfit, but then we go into the throws of the gift giving season.

Today is Bagel Friday.

Yes, one of the great perks of working for this sex toys outfit, is the bagels that flow through the office on Fridays. Now let me be clear, I actually don’t EAT the bagels. I’m not really much of a breakfast person — I save all of my appetite for a nice lunch. I think it’s because I’m a musician and we have such an off eating schedule.

What I like most about Fridays in the office is that for some reason (Er, maybe because it’s FRIDAY) people seem more relaxed. Now let’s understand something: Yes, we work around sex toys and bondage gear and dildos and vibrators and puppy cages, but it’s still a job. It’s still an 8-5 get up in the morning, head to the office, work and go home kind of a situation. It’s like every other job in the world in that you’ll have your moments of great joy and moments of great stress.

However, there’s nothing like looking over at one corner of your desk and seeing dildo harnesses and cherry flavored lube out in the open. There’s nothing like having your boss come in with a straight jacket and saying “Can you help seal me in this?” Who doesn’t want to place a straight jacket on their boss!? There’s nothing like hearing down the hall “Where does this go?” and find out they’re talking about a document and not a large butt plug.

Friday, as posted earlier, is also new product Fridays. It’s where new items get uploaded to our catalog for you to go look at and browse through.
