Steal Our Blog and Win $100

Safe Words needs some new blood, some new energy. So we’re leaving the doors unlocked and encouraging you to ’steal’ our blog. In fact, if you do a particularly good job of it, we’ll even give you $100 to get off with in our store!

Do I have your attention yet? Ok- so this is how it’s working.

Between now and August 28th we’re inviting all of you out there in the blog-o-sphere to submit you own post for Safe Words. We ask you to stay on topic - sex, bondage, bdsm, etc. - but you are invited to be as creative as you like. Please feel free to include any original images of yours, but for our 2257 compliance no photos of people (sorry, I know this will cramp your style). Email them to me at susanr@xrllc.com, and make sure to include your name (or Nome de plume), email, website and a 2 sentence bio of yourself. I’ll read them over and make sure that they’re on-topic and grammatically correct. I’ll then let you know what day your post will be going live on the Safe Words blog. That’s when the fun begins!

When your post goes live, you have until September 4th to get as many people as you can to read your post. Tell all your regular blog readers, your twitter buds, etc, your mom, your ex-husband, whoever to come over and see your post. The blogger whose post gets the most unique page views as tracked by our Google Analytics will receive a $100 gift certificate to Extreme Restraints store.

**Unique page views are one person loading your post’s permalink page. No hitting the ‘refresh’ button a thousand times now folks.**

The fine print:

  1. You can’t be an employee of XR, LLC. Seriously, we already pay you.
  2. Posts are published in an as-received order. So if you drag your feet till Aug 20th, don’t expect to be published on the 21st. Also, if you don’t reply to my requests for modification or information promptly, I can’t publish your post.
  3. We reserve the right to decline to publish your post for any reason- it is still TECHNICALLY our blog.
  4. Unique page views are determined by Google analytics. Google is Internet God, so we assume they know what they’re doing and how to track things. Our code has been installed correctly for years, so baring any unforeseen circumstances that will be the judge of the winner. If unforeseen circumstances come up, we’ll figure something fair out.
