This is a question I hear a lot. If I told you, I would have to kill ya… nah, seriously, I would rather help you out instead.

For sex toy store owners starting out this is a really hard thing to accomplish. Finding sex toys at wholesale prices is difficult. Especially for a small store owner who can’t buy in a large quantity. In the beginning we tried contacting the manufacturer on the boxes we found in the local video store sex toy section. But they want a ridiculous size order to start with. I remember one manufacturer wanted us to order $10,000 worth of product. We had only been in business for a month. So, our site had not even come close to being able to sell that amount. Nor, could we afford to buy that amount.

We’ve been there and done that. We know how hard it is. We’ve gone through the store growing pains and can now buy in large quantities and we have stuff manufactured to our specifications too. We’ve got exclusive agreements for some of our products and you can’t get them anywhere else but from us. We are also distributors of sex toys and bdsm toys for many product lines. But we want to make it easier for store owners who have come after us.

It’s funny how some of the business’s we used to buy from, now buy from us instead.

I like to think I’m a pretty tolerant person. Except when it comes to intolerance. Intolerance is something that I’m intolerant of. How’s that for an oxymoron? Sure there are things that are not right for me. But that doesn’t mean that they aren’t okay for someone else.

I was looking at our search stats today. I look at them at least once a week. It’s a great way to see trends, to find out what our customers really want. It also helps us know if customers can find the stuff we do have.

Customers on our bdsm store, www.extremerestraints.com, search for ass toys more than anything else. A close follow up is cock related toys. The number one phase shoppers search for is ‘butt plug’. If you look in our insert-able toys category, we sell quite a few styles of butt plugs. My favorite ones are made of silicon. For the same reason my favorite dildos are made of silicon. Silicon is sterilizable. It has a great texture. It holds temperature well. It’s non porous. In short, it’s perfect for making into sex toys. Why do you think the medical profession uses silicon for breast implants or ball implants? Because it is also not very reactive with body chemistry.

Speaking of ball implants. Yes, men really do get this done to make their balls larger. Personally I like all natural body parts. I’m not sure where this blog will go. I plan on writing about my personal journey into the world of BDSM. Hopefully I’ll get some of my mentor’s and friends to allow me to interview them. And, for sure, I will review my favorite toys in our stores. (Yes, we’ve grown. Today, we have more than just the one website selling extreme restraints.) But Extreme Restraints was the start of it all.
